Explore Bear Hunts

Our Alberta spring bear hunt runs over a four-week period from mid-May into early-June. Northern Edge Outfitting accommodates a total of four hunters per week during this period. This 2-bear limit hunt averages about 20% color phase throughout the season.

Our commitment and dedication to making each bear hunt a success has made Northern Edge Outfitting one of Alberta’s leading outdoor outfitters. We continuously monitor and diligently refill all of our bait sites to target those big bruins, giving every hunter the opportunity for the bear of their dreams. Although this is a wilderness hunt, we offer great amenities for our guests, including heated tents, hot showers, and amazing home cooked meals, with generators to keep freezers running and to provide power where needed.
